I am the owner of Green Mountain Midwifery and Women's Health located in downtown Bennington, Vermont. My practice for the last 5 years has been a well woman gynecology practice without the prenatal/birthing component. The philosophy of my credentialling organization, The American College of Nurse Midwives, is "With Women Through the Lifecycle."

I graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1974 with a BS in Nursing. While a student I became interested in the nursing research of Delores Kreiger, the founder of Theraputic Touch and organized a workshop for Delores to address the school. In 1987 I graduated from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, Kentucky.

Nursing has been a key that has opened doors to an amazing range of experience. From being with women birthing to being with people dying, touch has been an integral part of the journey. An appreciation of the importance of touch brings with it a commitment to touch with integrity.

At a time of high stress in my life I was gifted a Shen treatment. I found the work with Wassim Nehme and Bioenergetic Massage & Shen Touch deeply healing. I have continued to receive treatments and study with Wassim for the last ten years. I have been giving shen treatments for six years.
